Adding Lessons

Creating a New Lesson

1. Navigate to Content Manager → Lessons
2. Click Create new entry
3. Fill in the lesson details

Required Fields

Title: A clear name for the lesson.

• Example: "Understanding Pivot Tables"

Slug: URL-friendly identifier. Generated automatically from the title, but you can customize it.

• Example: "understanding-pivot-tables"

Order: The lesson's position in the course. Use whole numbers starting from 1.

• Lesson 1 = first lesson students see
• Lesson 2 = second lesson
• And so on

Content: The main lesson body. Use the rich text editor to write your lesson content. See the "Lesson Content Editor" guide for formatting options.

Linking to a Course

Every lesson must belong to a course:

1. Scroll to the Course relationship field
2. Click the dropdown and select the parent course
3. The lesson will appear in that course's lesson list

Duration

Set an estimated duration in minutes. This helps students plan their study time. The duration appears on the lesson card.

Save and Publish

• Click Save to save as a draft
• Click Publish when the lesson is ready for students
